'The love, hate relationship with Microsoft Excel. Should PropTech solutions integrate or replace?'

'The Big Question' Debate

in association with REdirect

Microsoft Excel has long been both a trusted ally and a source of frustration for businesses and individuals across the globe and within various industries. Excel's familiar spreadsheet interface has been a cornerstone for professionals, offering a one stop tool for data management, analysis, and reporting.

However, as technology evolves at a rapid pace, it's critical to ask the question, should organisations and individuals look to adopt new PropTech solutions that could offer better decision making, opportunities to collaborate and provide greater transparency to different stakeholders? This ultimately comes down to behavioural change from the top down and creating an environment that embraces innovation and understands the opportunities that arise from new solutions.

This debate explores the extent to which we should challenge the status quo or work with what the industry (and many businesses) are comfortable with, and highlights the complex dynamics between integrating with incumbent software and moving with new technology. Our debaters will be delving into the question of whether PropTech solutions should seamlessly integrate with or completely replace this universal spreadsheet software.

Should we hold onto this long-standing love affair with Excel, or is it time to embrace newer, more specialized PropTech solutions that promise to revolutionize the way we work with data?

Join us for this interactive event where attendees will get to vote on our polling system on Slido and tell us which side of the debate you are leaning towards ahead of the event and after. Will you remain on your initial side or can you be persuaded to change your opinion based on the outcome of the event?

Our 'The Big Question' debate series is also an opportunity to network over drinks and continue the conversation following the live debate.
