THE ROLE OF PROPTECH IN SUPPORTING CLIMATE RESILIENCE AND NATURE

Whilst the drive to decarbonise buildings and meet net zero carbon targets is at the forefront of the sector's work on sustainability, the industry is also working hard to adapt buildings to manage the impacts of climate change and to protect and restore nature. This roundtable will explore how PropTech can help, including how data and technology can support the growth of green infrastructure and help the sector deliver on new biodiversity net gain requirements.

This will be the third in a series of sustainability-focused technology breakfasts – or "techfasts" - that we are hosting throughout 2024/25 in association with Greengage Environmental and will bring together property investors, owners, managers and PropTech providers. These "techfasts" are part of a wider programme of technology and innovation events following the recent merger of the BPF and UK PropTech Association (UKPA).

The roundtable will take place under Chatham House rules. We will write up a short summary of the discussion but this will be on a non-attributable basis.
