In October 2023, the UKPA and BPF merged to bring together the two networks across the sectors to aim for a more collaborative and innovation-focused future for the real estate industry.
The merger brought together the BPF's membership of close to 400 property owners, investors, developers and advisors with the UKPA's community of over 1,000 entrepreneurs, solution providers, venture capital investors and PropTech innovators to help to drive deeper connections and now, in 2024, are working together on a new joint venture: the Tech & Innovation Programme.
As part of the program, we present the Techfast series—a collection of breakfast events designed to raise awareness about the digital landscape within Real Estate. These gatherings serve as collaborative platforms where industry stakeholders come together with a shared goal, addressing key topics within the sector and confronting current challenges within these focus areas head-on, fostering a collaboration between PropTechs and Property organisations, to discover impactful solutions.
Our first Re-Imagining Real Estate Techfast in the series, Adapting to the Digital Shift, focuses on;
"Harnessing Emerging Technologies and Platforms to Reach and Convert Buyers and Occupiers in Real Estate"
Overview
As the real estate landscape undergoes rapid transformation, the integration of cutting-edge digital tools is reshaping how professionals connect with, engage, and secure buyers and occupiers. This event explores the evolving digital ecosystem and uncovers innovative strategies to stay ahead in a competitive market.
With companies like DDRE stirring controversy by blending real estate with elements of reality TV, influencer culture, and high-end fashion, many in the Property and PropTech sectors are pushing back against this marketing approach. However, if we look beyond the Netflix-style glitz and glamour, and examine the core of DDRE's operations, their focus on technology and plans for a digitally-driven future become apparent. Is this a strategy to resist, or are they pioneering a new frontier in using technology as the cornerstone of their marketing efforts?
This discussion is not about the potential of reality TV shows, but focuses on cutting-edge technologies and strategies that are responding to the information age which has resulted in a shift in how people make decisions and digest information. To stay ahead, the property industry must embrace technology to reach and convert buyers, tenants, and investors; this event will explore how technologies such as 3D modelling tools and, virtual reality is creating a better experience for the users, whilst AI and data analytics tools, are improving operational efficiencies and helping developers, agents, and landlords to sell or lease properties faster.
Join us for this event where we will focus on case studies, debate style sessions and audience engagement to unpack the event topic and shine a light on the future of emerging technologies within Real Estate.
